Young children should have play-based experiences that are suited to their individual learning needs, according to The Grounds Therapy. The curriculum for their Early Intervention Program helps kids between the ages of 18 months and 7 years realize their potential so they can function in society with dignity and assurance. The Early Intervention Program at The Grounds Therapy is available 2–5 days a week from 9–1 and 2–4:30.
Parents and therapists work together to give comprehensive assistance in the program and at home. Every semester, an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is created for each child, and parents have the option of working with the preschool outside of the IEP to talk about how to better support their child.
Additionally, an educational psychologist is available to administer diagnostic tests (such as those for ADHD, ASD, IQ, and other conditions) and discuss any issues you may have with your child’s diagnosis. Assessment and official memoranda for deferring primary or SPED school education are among the other services.
We love The Grounds Centre – it stands by its name… Their Team is extremely understanding, dedicated, passionate, well versed with the requirement of each kid as well as very professional in their approach. They just do not cater to our kids & their growth but are a great support & guide to Parents too. In just 3 months we could see prominent progress in my child, their program is very detailed & tailored made, targeted towards short-term achievable goals with a clear vision for the long-term goals & strategy. Special mention to Teacher Jing ke for speech therapy sessions & Teacher Siew Pin for working on his life skills, and fine motor & disciplining our child. – Prakrutik – Nupur Agarwal

Ms. Wanda is an amazing speech therapist who has been a reassuring presence in my son’s growing-up journey. When we first met her, I was impressed by how she made my son feel so comfortable in her presence that he always looks forward to his sessions with her. After several sessions with Ms. Wanda, he is able to manage his stutters very well with the techniques she taught him. Ms. Wanda takes the time to listen to our concerns and explains clearly how we can help our son with the techniques at home. Not only is Ms. Wanda highly effective as a speech therapist, but she also does it with a whole lot of heart. The space at Ohana Therapy is so cozy and inviting too! Thank you, Ms Wanda and we will see you soon! – Lydia Tan

From early intervention through assessments, Annabelle Kids (AKIDS) employs a playful, multidisciplinary approach to all elements of therapy. Their speech therapists, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, and art and music therapists collaborate to present a comprehensive picture of your child. Children’s social, communicative, and cognitive development are the focus of interventions.
In order to alter a child’s developmental trajectory and enhance outcomes for the kid and their family, their child therapists also evaluate, diagnose, and offer early interventions to children and adolescents about their learning or academic performance, behavioral, social, and emotional development. Their child clinical psychologists have in-depth knowledge of different diagnostic tests as well as conductive cognitive evaluations, also known as IQ testing. These formal evaluations serve as a treatment planning tool, a developmental milestone monitor, and support for applications to specialized or subsidized services like early intervention programs or special education schools.
Our children have benefited tremendously from having OT, and we would highly recommend the OT at this center, whom we have found to be exceptionally knowledgeable and skillful in his therapy treatment for children with developmental challenges, and whom our children love. We have been through many professionals by this point, and know that we have found the best therapist for our children here. – Angeline Tan
