The 22nd edition of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2023 marks its status as the premier mass participation race. As it welcomes back all racing categories, including the International Elite racing and National Championships, SCSM2023 strives to push beyond self, boundaries, and expectations. A three-day celebration of the highest caliber, recognized as the only World Athletics Gold Label race in Southeast Asia, will be experienced by runners from December 1 through 3.
The only World Athletics Gold Label race in Southeast Asia and the top mass participation run is the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM). The 2023 race will be a World Athletics Gold Label event since the athletics world is making a comeback.
Since 2002, the event has provided participants with unmatched running opportunities. Running through the center of the city, spectators may see Chinatown, Little India, Marina Bay Sands, and Gardens by the Bay, as well as other famous Singapore monuments and skylines.
Every year, the event attracts over 50,000 professional, ardent, and recreational runners. As we turn running into a way of life, SCSM unavoidably serves as a catalyst for expanding our local and global running communities.
