Asus teases the release date and specifications of the ROG Phone 8—everything we currently know
Asus is getting ready to release the eighth iteration of its gaming-focused ROG Phone line. The ‘Republic of Gamers’ logo is visible on the rear of the phone in a recent image that the Taiwanese tech giant released on X.
The Asus flagship phone of the future will be shaped like a pentagon, with three sensors and an LED flash, in contrast to the ROG Phone 7, which has a rectangular camera island. It appears that the phone will keep its predecessor’s side-mounted USB-C connector.
The phrase “Beyond Gaming” may allude to major advancements in the camera or other aspects of the forthcoming gadget, although this is currently only conjecture. The debut date of the ROG Phone 8 has not been revealed by Asus, however, it is anticipated to emerge at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The business is developing two ROG Phone 8 phones with model numbers AI2401_A and AI2401_D, according to a recent Notebookcheck report. The ROG Phone 8 is said to be the “A” model, while the “D” version may be the highest version.
