Singapore’s variety is wonderful, and we’re not only referring to the people here. You may get almost every sort of food here, whether you have a hankering for Peranakan food or are following a vegetarian diet. One example is Halal restaurants. There are new restaurants opening up all throughout the city, bringing delicious food with them. Want to learn more? Go through our extensive list of the best halal eateries in Singapore. The meal is about to begin!

What does a restaurant becoming halal mean?

The Arabic word halal, which means “permissible,” refers to food that is acceptable in accordance with Islamic law. For meat to be deemed “halal,” it must be a prohibited cut (such as meat from an animal’s hindquarters) or animal product (such as pork).

How can you tell whether a restaurant serves halal food?

There are some things to think about. You can believe a restaurant’s claims that its cuisine is Halal if the owner is Muslim or if there are a significant number of Muslim employees there. If not, you might ask for a paper from the supplier attesting to the legality of the meats they offer.

Good value for quality of the food. Steak was medium rare as ordered and Salmon was a little pink in the middle. Most restaurants tend to overcook meat and salmon till dry and hard. Brownie was moist and warm. Would definitely come back again. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly Parking: Ample sheltered parking – SumiMochi

First time coming to this place and already blown away. All of the staff were attentive and friendly. The dishes were very unique and delicious too. We ordered all of the recommended dishes and even drinks. The risotto with mushrooms and truffle must be the star of the show. With the exception of eating in Australia, never have we eaten actually sliced truffles with the dish. The dish is cooked in the cheese wheel definitely made it so much better. The pizza with crab meat definitely tastes great, not your usual pizza. Also, the desserts were to die for. Definitely coming back here again for their beef Wellington! – Adrian Goh

The Toolang Burger, Signature Garlic Cream Mussels, Huge Beef Bacon Boat Pizza, and Beef Mee Goreng are just a few of the mouthwatering major dishes on their menu. Limaa, was established in 2017 by 2 mothers who have a great passion for food and a fickle tastebud. Once nestled in Haji Lane, Limaa has moved into Golden Landmark Shopping Centre, just across Haji Lane. This is a hidden gem spot within the Kampong Glam area. Not to mention, one of the few affordable meals you can get too!

The pandemic hit us hard as our regular tourist customers disappeared, but we persevered and made a HUGE move to downscale. But that didn’t deter us from serving our sought-after Halal Rosti’s and Pulled beef cheese sandwich. We even added local cuisines like Kacang Phool (made from Fava Beans) and Shaksouka, beautifully paired with baguette.

Now a HOT favorite with our regular customers, they always start with our Banana Fritters and end with our freshly baked Salted Caramel Brownies. Everything is baked and whipped up in-house.

Come and give us a try!

Ela is a gorgeously simplistic hangout where you should go if you’re in the mood for some Greek food. With the Farmhouse Platter, tuck into rotisserie chicken, lamb merguez, beef sausages, and more. Take a slice of baklava to round it all off.

Happy with my experience here. Ordered a pita-sharing platter and grilled octopus. The dips were flavorful, I got my Greek craving satisfied. (Though Pita bread was not as fragrant and flavorful standalone compared to my experience in a Turkish restaurant overseas). – Timo Lilian 123
