Chingay 2024 returns to the F1 Pit
A Chinese New Year event to remember is the 2024 Chingay Parade! A flower spectacular kicks off this year’s Chingay Parade, wishing everyone a flourishing start to the Year of the Dragon. The subject for this year is “Blossom,” which stands for the development and flourishing of the person as well as the community in Singapore as we come together to promote harmony, peace, and prosperity.
Six exciting acts, including colorful costumes, extraordinary effects, unique dance routines, stilt walkers, vocalists, and more, will be featured in the 2024 Chingay parade. Watch out for the longest floor projection of an enchanted garden in Singapore, Instagram-worthy backgrounds at PAssionArts Street, and lovely art works with a floral theme created by students using recyclable materials. In addition, there will be a ton of creative activities for you and the kids to participate in as you’re inspired by PAssionArts Street’s captivating art installations.

Rhapsodies of Spring 2024 Concert
The Singapore Chinese Orchestra will provide exciting musical performances to usher in the Year of the Dragon. Anticipate a fresh perspective with fresh musical components in 2024. Drum Feng and Taman Jurong of the CC Juboon Dragon & Lion Dance Troupe will provide unique performances during the Rhapsodies of Spring 2024, which will be presented by CAPTIAL958 DJs. Kevin Cheng, a sheng player, will also perform the Sheng Concerto, “Spring at the Seaside,” on stage. Don’t pass up the chance to celebrate the Lunar New Year with incredible musical shows!

Dahlia Dreams: Year of the Dragon

River Hongbao 2024
Singapore’s biggest annual Chinese New Year celebration, River Hongbao, takes place at Gardens by the Bay. Details are still being kept under wraps for the time being, but we’re looking forward to additional carnival rides, gorgeous lantern displays with a dragon theme, and getai performances.
Chinatown 2024 CNY Street Lantern Light Up
With an abundance of exquisite lanterns and other Year of the Dragon-themed ornamental exhibits and street lights along New Bridge Road, South Bridge Road, Upper Cross Street, and Eu Tong Sen Street, Chinatown’s 2024 Chinese New Year street light-up is usually a highlight. Chinatown’s Festive Fair & Weekly Shows
There’s nothing like indulging in delectable cuisine and lively performances to get into the mood of the Lunar New Year! We are excited to celebrate the Lunar New Year in Chinatown, which is home to three traditional CNY activities, including lion dances and delicious Chinese cuisine at the Chinatown festive market.
Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2024
As part of the Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2023, Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall welcomed the Year of the Rabbit with two enormous inflatable rabbits last year. We want to commemorate the Year of the Dragon this Lunar New Year with even more interesting kid-friendly CNY programs, performances, and Instagram-worthy locations for the Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2024! Museum Roundtable Hongbao 2024
The Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign is expected to return this Chinese New Year with brand-new red package designs that highlight the Year of the Dragon, by tradition! While supplies last, you can generally stop by any of the partner museums to pick up these lovely red packets for your loved ones! Each guest is allowed one set, consisting of eight red packet pieces. Details are still being kept under wraps, so return later for more.
