The soloist from South Korea BOL4, popularly known as Bolbbalgan4 (볼빨간 사춘기), will start her “2023 BOL4 ASIA TOUR” in August.
Before concluding her Asia Tour in Singapore on September 10, 2023 (Sunday), 7 PM (SGT) at The Theatre at Mediacorp, she will go to Macau, Tokyo, and Jakarta. The musician’s debut performance in Singapore will be this one.
In April 2016 the first mini album “Red Ickle” by BOL4 was released under Shofar Entertainment. The gifted singer-songwriter soon established herself in the K-Indie scene because to her distinctive vocal style and sincere delivery. Her music is still highly popular with the general audience since it is so relevant.
Her second mini album, “Red Diary Page.1,” topped the charts in Korea in 2017, with the songs “Some,” “To My Youth,” and “Blue” reaching the top three slots on six significant charts. With 122 million views and climbing, the 2017 music video for “Some” is presently the artist’s most-watched on YouTube.
The album’s final two songs likewise succeeded in reaching the top 10 of each of the six charts. With her third and fourth mini albums, “Red Diary Page.2” and “Youth Diary 1: Flower Energy” in 2018 and 2019, respectively, BOL4 continues to dominate the Korean music charts.
BOL4’s whimsical song “Leo” (2020), which featured a surprise guest appearance by EXO’s BAEKHYUN, was released in May of that year. The song instantly won over fans and peaked at No. 42 on Melon’s Top 100 Songs Chart of 2020.
In April of this year, she released her most recent album, “Love.zip,” which debuted at No. 57 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and No. 10 on the Melon Weekly Album Chart. At her concert in Singapore, BOL4 will play some of her most popular songs live for her audience.
