Simply love the variety of options for drinking at the hawker center itself, taking away and even their packaged products. Interesting cuisine with Asian influences is found in the presentation and flavors of the food. Service staff was also very attentive and jovial which added to the dining experience in the semi-private room. After the main meal, we adjourned to another seating area on the second level to have dessert. It was thoughtful and well-executed for the patrons to relax and enjoy the post-meal dessert. After seven years on Lavender Street, Muslim-owned The Bravery is poised to start a new chapter. It all starts with a shift from a little café on Jalan Besar to a two-story shophouse on Amoy Street. It almost feels like a rite of passage. The fluorescent color-blocked plastic sheets that once covered the entrance have been removed. Because of the lime green banquette seats coupled with brown rattan chairs and plenty of open space, natural light now comes in subtle, thoughtful ways.
Highlights:
- Hand-picked herbs
- Defining the balance of sweet, salty, and sour
- Ingredients are carefully selected
Decent experience and nice food! Wished the truffle tasted stronger for the fries! The portion is okay and filling! The drinks are refreshing and the service is awesome! There is a dining time limit though and we also booked in advance just in case it was crowded! – Faith
