What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a licensed health profession focused on correcting interference in your nerve system; so that your organs, skin, muscles and all other body parts can communicate properly with your brain. A Cardiologist focuses on your cardiac system, a Dentist focuses on your teeth and a Chiropractor focuses on your nerve system to correct any Subluxations.
What is Upper Cervical care?
Upper Cervical care is a very specific, scientific approach focusing on Subluxations at the Cranio-cervical junction, which is located at the top of your neck where the skull meets the spine. The Upper Cervical region comprises the first two bones in your neck (the atlas and axis) and the base of the skull (the occiput).
The Upper Cervical bones protect your brain-stem, which has more neurons than the rest of the spine combined, and is responsible for controlling your vital body functions. Think of your brain-stem like a communication centre between the brain and body. When you want your body to do something, such as move your hand, your brain sends a signal to the brain-stem and this directs that signal to your hand. Reversely, if your hand touches something, such as a hot surface, the signal comes from the hand to the brain-stem and this directs that signal to the brain.
What kind of tests will be done?
At Vitality Chiropractic we use the best and most up-to-date tests and technology to test the proper functioning of your nerve system. This includes testing blood pressure, balance, HRV (Heart Rate Variability), Medical Grade Computed Infrared Thermography, muscle testing, Orthopedic tests and other procedures to make sure we get the most accurate information about your condition. We also send for specialized biomechanical X-rays (unique in Singapore) to make sure we are as specific as possible.

What happens on your first visit?
*If x-rays are required they cost $100 – $150. You will receive a copy to take home including the official report from the radiologist.
What are the costs?
The first consultation, including the medical history, physical examination and nerve scans is $150. This also includes the second appointment for the test results. Follow up appointments, with Chiropractic corrections as necessary, are $90-150 per visit.
