The Watergardens site is the larger of the two Canberra Drive sites and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has awarded it to the United Venture Development. The site was a part of the Government Land Sales programme and managed to attract a total of four bids. The second-highest bid of $257.9 came from the partnership between Greatview Group and MCC Land (Singapore), and the lowest bid of $240 million came from CSC Land Group (Singapore).
