We stayed at Adina for 8 days in August while visiting family in Singapore. The staff was always welcoming and thoughtful despite our very spirited children. The facilities were well maintained and our children enjoyed their cheese toasties every morning at breakfast. Nancy the residence manager was lovely and very accommodating during our stay. The famous Rediffusion building at 182 Clemenceau Avenue, where the hotel is located, was formerly a prestigious address in the country of Singapore’s forerunner of cable radio. The hotel’s location was originally home to one of Singapore’s first railway stations, which ran from 1902 to 1932. The road was named after French prime minister Georges Clemenceau in honor of his bravery during World War I.

The hotel’s location is historically significant due to its proximity to well-known sites including The Istana, The National Museum of Singapore, and Fort Canning Hill. I normally do not write reviews but will take the exception to do one for Citadines City Connect. A relatively new hotel with the most wonderful staff. Very helpful and will really go the extra mile to provide their guest with their district hospitality. The front office staff, May, is the best !! The room, while, not too big is very functional. The breakfast selection is also great. Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. Wonderful – JB

YWCA Fort Canning

YWCA Fort Canning is owned and operated by the YWCA of Singapore and all their net proceeds go towards supporting YWCA’s community service programmes. It is situated next to Fort Canning Park, 275 meters from Plaza Singapura. There is a pool and cable TV in the air-conditioned, non-smoking rooms. There is also free parking for visitors. Most rooms offer views of the city, pool, or park and are equipped with a mini fridge and a tea/coffee maker.

The bathrooms with en suites provide hot showers and toiletries. The front desk has a luggage storage area that is accessible around the clock. Café Lodge offers a selection of regional and international cuisine. There are also alternatives from the a la carte menu.

The National Museum is 5 minutes from YWCA Fort Canning, and Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station is 150 meters away. The venue is a 15-minute drive from Changi International Airport. The park across from YWCA Fort Canning is open for visitors to meander through.

Newly renovated and the place is just so homey and there’s a wholesome appeal. Food was just okay but you can eat outside. The place is also nearby the park and dhoby ghaut mrt so everything is such a convenience for me. Kudos also to the service of Ms erica of the coffee shop she was so nice and accommodating with swift service – Joe C

Ji Hotel Orchard Singapore

The Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station is a 5-minute walk from the Ji Hotel Orchard Singapore, which is situated in the center of Singapore. It provides contemporary lodging with free internet. I’m quite particular with cleanliness, especially with hotel bathrooms and may I say, this hotel meets my standard. Check-in was breezy and the staff even gave me a room 2 hours earlier than the supposed check-in time. Very grateful for that. Location-wise, very convenient. It’s just opposite the Dobby Ghaut MRT station and bus stop. The size of the Superior room is perfect for a solo traveler. However, the size may be a bit small or just enough for two people. Good location few minutes away from Dhoby Ghaut and Bencoleen mrt. Great vibe when u enter the building it seems that they just renovated the area and inside the guestroom. The staff was helpful and friendly.
