I went to the Bangsar outlet last week. I paid close to RM600 for the 3.5-hour sultana spa. Their only available slot was at 6.30 pm. They told me it would finish at 10pm. But they didn’t tell me that the air con would be turned off at 9.30pm. So I suffered a very warm and stuffy facial in a small enclosed room. The therapist told me the facial was only for my face and she did not touch my neck or shoulders, contrary to the description. When I was done, my therapist, her friend and I were the last ones there and I was literally hurried out of the spa with no courtesy to me as a paying customer. Also, I walked in for this appointment. I had called to make an appointment but they will tell you they are very busy with no slots available. I had the previous day made a 5pm appointment. At 4.30pm I texted them to say my grab was late and I would reach by 5pm. They told me if I don’t reach by 5pm, they will cancel my slot as they have many customers waiting. They didn’t inform me they had a new branch at lot 10. Their website was not upgraded then to reflect the new branch. So the service is not that great. They seem a bit arrogant and don’t care to lose your RM600. The only positive was the Hammam & Gommage experience. My therapist was a sweet Moroccan lady and she really scrubbed me down and cleaned my skin. I felt so refreshed after I left the steam room. The rest of my sultana ritual was meh. – Maha Eswari

Very good service from the reception counter onwards till the end. Hubby and me chose Balinese massage. Medium pressure. My masseuse was a Chinese lady, can’t really clearly see her name tag.. maybe Ming Chen? Her pressure point was on point, strong enough. She was very professional and courteous. Hubby got a Balinese lady. He commented she was good too. The ambience was still relaxing to me even though there were negligible construction sounds, may be because the message was too good. After the massage, we were served with ginger lemon tea as an immune booster. – Evanescence

Step into the premises and we were transported to Bali. We nearly forgot we were in KL. The place is very well decorated and very well maintained. The massage therapists were well-trained. Amazing experience. Where do I start? I ordered a Balinese massage. The experience started with a sweet some sort of root drink and a hot towel that was infused with aromatic oils. From there I was invited to a room. A walk through the place is already amazing with dimmed light and waterflowing decor, tranquil music. The room was spacious, the massage bed was large, and around were all dimmed lights, flowers and other decorations that created beautiful ambience and smell and the music was the same in the room. When I was laying down the lady brought a hot water bowl with aromatic oils and a flower floating on it and placed it beneath the bed so all the aroma was going straight to my nose. And when I opened eyes I saw a flower. The massage was gentle, slow and strong. Amazing. When she asked me to turn on my back, she put a pillow on my eyes that was also so fragrant with oils. Everything was perfect. To wake me up she used some orange smelling oil around my nose to energize me. The massage was concluded with a delicious ginger tea. It was amazing. – Kat G
