Afterglow is the first entirely plant-based restaurant in Singapore. Afterglow doesn’t rely on carbs and cooks everything to order, avoiding high-calorie items like bread and spaghetti. Afterglow chooses better alternatives while consuming carbohydrates. Their version of cheesecake is created with cashew cream rather than traditional dairy components, and their Kimchi Avo Rolls are served with almond sushi “rice.”
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service at the Afterglow restaurant. Smallish and cozy, the menu is filled with only vegan dishes, many of which are pretty innovative. Service was super and even the water served was infused with lemon. Ask you about any allergies before taking your orders. Must-go vegan restaurant. – Venkat Chandramoleshwar

Love the XO fried rice and the double-broiled soup the most! The soup is so tasty and the fried rice is so fragrant! Very good to cleanse my body once in a while with vegetarian food. Really looking fwd to trying other items on the menu next time. – Elsie G

They also offer a fantastic non-alcoholic drink menu with ingredients like coconut, ashwagandha, Pu-erh tea, dandelion root, and more. Even the most ardent meat eaters will be satiated by their flavorful vegan dishes, and to round out your dinner, there are decadent vegan desserts.
Mind-blown experience with the food here. Unique vegan food. We had a group of 3, and the 4 dishes were perfect. The desserts were just fine, and the sourdough ice cream was not our cup of tea but overall we loved the food. – My Phuong Huynh

The ingredients used in each of the delectable vegan meals served at Genesis, a vegan restaurant in Havelock II, are carefully chosen. There is no MSG present, and the menu’s amounts of sugar, salt, and oil are all kept under control. With pasta, noodles, and rice meals, look for wholemeal bread, robust appetizers, and a choice of sweets.
Excellent dumplings, really loved them because they are fresh and tasty! Same with the lasagna, no meat didn’t mean less taste, quite the contrary actually! I recommend this place for the good and also healthy food. – Maxime

With the exception of Kimchi Mandu, which has dumplings stuffed with more than 15 vegetarian ingredients, all dishes, and sauces are freshly made from scratch. One such is the Bibimbap, a bowl of rice topped with shredded vegetables and loaded with vibrant vegetables. So if you are hungry for vegetarian Korean dishes, check this restaurant up!
Amazed by the taste. The roasted malt tea is really very nice, but sadly not refillable. The army stew tastes amazing especially at the end after cooking for a while. The flavors are enhanced. The noodle is nice too. We also ordered steamed eggs and kimchi pancakes which are decent. They also provide free flow on 3 sides. – You Foodie Nice

Gokul also provides catering services, and its vegetarian buffets and a la carte menu items are frequently praised by consumers.
This place came highly recommended by my Indian vegetarian friend. True enough, every dish Is done perfectly well. The mock meat mutton tastes almost like real meat, and the curry with it is just right in terms of the mix of spices. All the bread was piping hot and thin. The biryani rice’s fragrance just opens up the appetite. I was told that their “chicken” is a hot favorite and I saw many tables ordered it. Will come back again. – Trotting Horse
