The staff are fantastic at running this rehabilitation Centre and it is clear they have the orangutan’s best interest at heart as well as allowing the public to enjoy seeing them feed. It is safe, controlled and calmly done. It is a short guided experience to allow the monkeys their own time and not be overwhelmed by tourists. We had an amazing day here. Go to both feeding times!! Make sure you’re one of the first people in to walk the path as this is the best chance of a lucky close encounter. We managed to see two orangutang walk within meters of us (they approached us) the whole place is run very well and seemingly ethically. Staff tell misbehaving or loud tourists off frequently which is refreshing. – Ryan Wesley
