One of the best library ,lots of books by age & couldn’t believe my 9 year one stayed there for 3 hours. front desk/ reception were awesome, helped us with membership process n guidance. – Jeevan KS

There was a line of 20 persons but it was not a long wait. Each visitor is allowed 1 hr in the library with coloured stickers as identification. Well organised and this system allows fair allocation to visitors to the library. – Karen Koh

In case you haven’t stepped into Central Public Library located B1 in Victoria Street … it’s been closed and undergoing renovations now. Actually renovations have not started as they have removed the books on the shelf but not removed the shelves yet. So I reckon it will only be open next year as the Reno is going to be quite extensive. By the way, last week I was here and the Book Exchange Corner was still there and people are still leaving books and exchanging books. But not this week, so don’t come by thinking the library is open or that you can exchange books. Not anymore you can’t. – Samantha Tan
