About LANY
LANY has seamlessly carved its path into the mainstream, emerging as one of the most widespread, unpredictable, and compelling alternative rock bands in the current musical landscape. With billions of streams, sold-out shows in iconic arenas, and widespread critical acclaim, the platinum-certified ensemble from Los Angeles consistently delivers anthems that soar to the rafters, grounded in meticulous songcraft and the charismatic presence of their enigmatic frontman and songwriter, Paul Jason Klein.
Their impressive track record includes four gold singles – “Malibu Nights,” “Super Far,” “I Quit Drinking” (with Kelsea Ballerini), and “Mean It” (with Lauv) – alongside the platinum-certified hit “ILYSB.” Acknowledged with a Pollstar nomination for “Best Pop Tour,” LANY’s live performances are dynamic, mesmerizing, and ever-evolving, capturing audiences across continents with a global appeal. The band’s 2021/2022 World Tour spanned 17 countries, consistently selling out venues. Collaborations with artists like Julia Michaels and critical acclaim from publications such as GQ, WWD, Rolling Stone, and Interview Magazine, which hailed their breakout album “Malibu Nights” as the “quintessential 2018 heartbreak album,” further solidify their impact.
Beyond their musical achievements, frontman Paul has quietly become a modern style icon, featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon, and Who What Wear. Marni’s creative director, Francesco Risso, even dubbed Paul a “muse,” with the brand providing outfits for tours and various events. As they gear up for their highly anticipated fifth album in 2023, LANY’s evolution into the next phase of their musical journey is set to captivate audiences once again.
