There are two sizes available for this char kway teow: $4 and $5. Their followers are stated to enjoy that the CKT is not overly fatty and that there are enough of ingredients. They frequently sell out before they close, so get there as soon as you can!
One of the must eat dishes I have set if I ever visit this hawker center. Am not wrong as this plate of CKT is now among my top 3 in SG. Luckily my wife stands in q for coming an hr to get this, else I dun think I have the mood to eat in the end. True, the queue is horrible coz they fry it plate by plate so the q moves very slow. On this CKT, I find the chili they use is very unique and therefore u will find it amazing. To enjoy this CKT is to eat there and not packet home. Choose the $4 piece, their most basic dish, if you’re looking for a plain, eggy CKT meal. Alternatively, cockles and prawns are included in the $5 (medium) and $6 (large) servings. Compared to ordinary CKT, Dong Ji’s CKT has a less sweet taste and is jam-packed with garlic.
One of my favorites for the past decade. The Kway Teow is the dry type but fried well with the Char taste. They also gave prawn, egg and Si-ham at decent portions. The CKT is priced at $4 and, because of its two-step wok-frying method, is bursting with flavor and wok hei. Noodles are cooked in two stages: initially, in large quantities, and then, in smaller batches, as needed. The best way to eat these noodles is fresh!
$5 for the best CKT of your life. Not many places come with all the toppings anymore, but this place has it all. Clams, prawns, sausage, and crispy pork bits, with reasonable amounts too. The flavor and char were just incredible all the way to the end. They made me realize that small crispy pork bits is absolutely perfect. Any fan of char kway teow will tell you that Outram Park Char Kway Teow, which opened in the 1930s, is no stranger. In addition to their lengthy history, they are well-known for their gao wok hei and liberal amounts of cockles in their CKT. The regular price for each dish is $4.50, but you may add $2 for more cockles or $0.50 for an additional egg. It has a little bit more sweetness and moisture than the normal CKT. Since this is likely one of Singapore’s most well-known char kway teow booths, there will probably be a line, but the wait will be worthwhile!

Hai Kee Teochew Char Kway Teow is another establishment that has been operating for many years. Mr. Loh Kwee Leng, who founded the company in 1967, has been serving CKT for more than 50 years! Hai Kee’s classic ($5) CKT is a simple dish with plenty of cockles, bean sprouts, and fried fat. It is fried to a moist consistency and has a distinct wok hei flavor.
Given that this is one of the busiest CKT locations in Singapore, expect to wait anywhere from 45 to an hour. The lengthy wait periods might be explained by the fact that Mr. Loh fries each dish of char kway teow individually!
