Customer Reviews

Wanted to try here for breakfast. Ordered the steak and eggs and added a pork sausage and brioche toast. The food was decent. Bear in the cappuccino looks cute. Was expecting the brioche to be French toast as shown in the picture and as mentioned by server Geraldine. Geraldine offered to help me change the toast to French toast and was attentive and gracious to offer a complimentary drink for my parched throat. I’m impressed by her hospitality. – Grandville Ee

This is my first visit and I really enjoyed the ambience. The price of the coffee is acceptable although was a bit surprised it’s a pretty small cup. I ordered the Cappuccino and the taste was just nice for me. It was not crowded when we went even on a Saturday so at least it was not noisy. A nice place to chill and chat with friends. – John Tan

Have visited quite a number of times but not reviewed this cafe (not sure why). Have always enjoyed their brunch/lunch items and even did takeaways during the pandemic. Coffee is also very good and they roast their own beans, which was what I came to get this visit. Prices are reasonable and it’s a nice quaint cafe amidst the medical facility it is part of. – Kevin Ang

The scrambled egg at Atlas Coffeehouse appears to have been perfected – soft yet rich, fluffy yet buttery and frothed to a lovely sunny yellow. Scrambled eggs with compound butter and honey mascarpone over toast, Gentleman’s Relish ($17.70). Their large, fluffy pancakes are another hallmark dish. The Butterscotch Banana Pancake ($19.80) is a fan favorite, with cornflake crunchies and vanilla ice cream on top. You might want to share that one because it’s quite filling but well worth it!

Customer Reviews

Pretty decent food and coffee, a little pricy. Scrambled eggs are nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Rosti could be crispier and flatter, a little too thick for my liking. The waffles were great, fragrantly toasted soft in the inside and crisp on the outside. Avocado can add a little more seasoning. Truffle fries, average. The ice latte was nice, pretty decent coffee, freshly roasted and aromatic. – Melvin Ang

I like their Molten matcha cake, for the sweet tooth. Truffle’s taste is not very strong for the pasta. Will be better if there is a stronger taste. Went there on a weekday brunch so not many people. Water is provided on the table. – Lavender Hq

Frequently Asked Questions

What is considered a breakfast food?

In America, “breakfast food” is an arbitrary term, yet it is distinct: cereal with milk, a cup of yogurt, eggs, muffins, fruit, oatmeal, and juice. If you have some additional time on the weekend, you may make pancakes or waffles.

What is a healthy Singapore breakfast?

Slowly digested carbs (such as fresh fruit, whole grain cereal, and low-fat dairy products) are combined with protein meals to provide a balanced and nutritious breakfast (e.g. egg, reduced fat cheese, bean curd). These will provide you with the energy and nutrition you require to get your day started.

What is the typical breakfast in Singapore?

Kaya Toast, half-boiled eggs, and coffee, a staple Singaporean breakfast, are a particular favorite, especially after long trips away from home. Kaya is a delicious coconut jam that’s commonly sandwiched between two slices of toasted bread and accompanied by two half-boiled eggs seasoned with soy sauce and pepper.
