One of the most beautiful places on the planet. Arrived at low-tide, so had to wade through the beach to make it to land. 200RM for a boat, however, that can split up between people and groups willing to share the boat there and back. The park is beautiful – full of jungle, interesting rock formations, views of the coast, and wildlife. Be careful with food – I saw a Macaque monkey steal a family’s lunch! Likely the best hike/trek I’ve been on, can’t recommend this park enough. – Ben
Amazing place with a lot of animals in their natural environment. Different hikes are possible, I advise you to take a guide in order to help you spot the animals in the forest. One cafeteria exists on Bako. – Julie GP
Well-marked trails that felt adventurous but were very easy to follow. The boat there was enjoyable and we saw a lot of wildlife. No need to do a tour (unless you are a solo traveler maybe…), getting a grab there and back and organizing a boat at the visitor center was easy. – Chris Howard
