About Tomato Photo
Tomato Photo started in 2008 by Hart Tan in a small corner of the bedroom photographing babies and families in the great outdoors and at client’s homes. They pioneer studio and outdoor shoot in their very own studio in 2009 and upgraded the studio to offer clients different experiences as the need arise. Finally in 2018, Tomato Photo settled into their permanent home, a specially designed studio with families in mind. (attache studio photo). The studio offers families the ease, comfort and convenience in having their photoshoots done. It features a mobility friendly environment with no stairs to climb, have multiple changing rooms, plenty of parking and sheltered drop-off areas.

Who is the owner?
Hart is a multi-award winning master photographer and entrepreneur, and owner of award winning Photography Businesses. Apart from businesses, he volunteers his photographic skills and time with various charity organisations and is frequently invited for speaking engagements or workshops in Singapore and abroad (https://tomato.sg/best-family-photography-awards/).
A kampong boy at heart, he recalls dragging himself to the photo studio in the 80’s to have their annual family portrait done when he was much younger. As time goes by, being, older and wiser, and having lost both his younger brother and mother, he finally understands the importance of memories; and his parent’s kind intentions.
He find happiness in the simplicity in every part of life. His strength is being able to connect and manage people from as young as 4 days to seniors who are centenarian. He is also a natural in capturing real moments, your mannerisms, the most natural side of you and your family that you never knew existed.

Besides studio session, Hart is also commissioned to photograph clients at their home or on-location both in Singapore, Hong Kong and around the Asia-Pacific region, prior to the pandemic.
