Kelture Aveda, founded by Kelvin Yap, a former celebrity of Mediacorp (formerly known as Singapore Broadcasting Corporation) being in the media industry he has an eye for trends and fashion. He was further inspired by his former colleagues to provide them with a hairdo and style them for both on-stage and day-to-day lifestyles. Through the years the salon has built a diverse team of hairdressers with expertise from western precision to eastern techniques and trends of Japan and Korea.
The Team and Skills
Kelture has a myriad of hairstylists who are trained and specialized in different forms of tresses, from Japanese to Koreans to Caucasians. You name it we have it. Kelture combines the craftsmanship of Western, Japanese and Korean techniques and styles to suit the best for her guests. Kelture in the early 2010s believe in customers’ wellness and worked with Aveda, sharing its mission and became the first Aveda’s lifestyle salon and spa. Kelture Aveda became the first and only co-branding salon with Aveda in Singapore.
