Night At Orchard bazaar is making a comeback after a four-year hiatus and will be held on Good Friday

The upcoming three-day bazaar marks the beginning of a series of 10 monthly events featuring emerging local and regional brands. Night At Orchard, a beloved bazaar, is returning after a four-year break and will commence on Good Friday (Mar 29). According to Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA), the event aims to turn the pedestrian walkways of Orchard Road into a bustling and lively marketplace.

The inaugural event will run for three days from 3pm to 10pm, marking the beginning of a series of 10 monthly events organized by ORBA and events agency INVADE. Each event will showcase emerging local and regional brands, offering a diverse range of themes from wellness to pets to sustainability.

For the March edition, visitors can expect over 50 booths spanning from Wisma Atria to Ngee Ann City. The booths will feature food and beverages, retail and lifestyle brands, as well as workshops and games. Notably, homegrown brand Nine.N will host games where participants can compete to change the cover of their Kaiteki recliners in record time.

Other attractions include pop-up stores like The Ice Cream & Cookie Co., The Ink Book offering various types of tattoos, and Naked Glory specializing in vintage watches.

ORBA has announced plans to introduce more brands from across the region in future editions of Night At Orchard. Among these brands is Loma.Whale from Chatuchak Market in Bangkok, known for its Thailand-sourced linen and cotton clothes and bags.

Upcoming editions of the event will showcase creative brands from Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea, expanding the range of offerings for visitors. Additionally, the event will extend to other parts of the shopping district, covering pedestrian walkways from ION Orchard to Ngee Ann City, and from Forum The Shopping Mall to Wheelock Place.

ORBA Chairman Mark Shaw expressed, “In recent years, Singapore has witnessed a growing number of young entrepreneurs across various sectors, including tech, F&B, lifestyle, and entertainment.

“The revival of Night At Orchard reflects ORBA’s dedication to supporting Singapore’s emerging brands by providing valuable exposure to residents and tourists along Orchard Road, our iconic shopping street.”

He further noted that the initial launch of Night At Orchard in 2019 garnered positive feedback, and vendors were disappointed when pandemic-related restrictions led to its suspension the following year.
