Customer Reviews

Good food, good atmosphere, and good services. But just that I would expect a little more for the food since a lot of people recommend me here, but it doesn’t mean that the food here is not nice. The spaghetti is really nice because of the hint of truffle oil which highlights the spaghetti. The burger is great and so is the pizza. The waiters here are very polite and nice which adds a lot of marks for the restaurant. Would recommend to everyone where there are special occasions and wish to have a gathering here. – John Hoe

The atmosphere is great. A lot of socket plugs are available for laptops & chargers. There is a small performance corner for gig shows as well. There are tables fit for different groups, from 2 pax up to big groups of 8-10. Parking is hard to find as usual since its the middle of the Georgetown Heritage site. The food overall is nice, I definitely recommend the BK peri-peri chicken. I tried the salmon spinach pie, it has a unique flavor though it’s a bit dry. Pumpkin soup is dense & creamy. – Ooi Ee Ting

Mugshot Cafe & Rainforest Bakery is a popular choice because of its excellent coffee and bagels made in western fashion. The café has its own bakery that specializes in bread and bagels, and it is set inside a traditional shophouse. They go well with heartier fare like smoked salmon, turkey ham, bacon, and eggs, or the tooth-pleasing combo of Nutella and banana. Alternatively, they can be served with lighter (and more costly) choices like a splash of cream and cheese. Their yogurts are delicious and nourishing, and their espresso is strong.

This place serves nice food, however, they are relatively expensive compared to many KL cafes. Had French toast with thick bacon, but didn’t change to crispy bacon cos I needed to add RM 18! The coffee was also good, however, the espresso with orange was ok only. Will be back but not so often. – Steve

Been here a few times and I have to say that the food is exceptional. Recently tried the mango bomboloni (which tasted more natural and fruity than the other sweet bombolonis Ive tried), the cheesy pizza and the caramelized banana peanut butter tartine — all tasted great. The pizza was quite savory while the peanut butter did not overpower the taste of the caramelized banana on the tartine. Enjoyed the food very much and highly recommend it. – Venus

Love the morning vibe here. Coffee is quite strong (had a hazelnut latte) for someone who prefers something milky. Burnt cheesecake is also interesting with the sea salt cream on the side.
