We had a good time just looking through all the different types of whiskeys and taking pictures of the interior. Blu Jaz Cafe

Originally a 16-seater burger joint on Dunlop Street, the Cafe Blue Jaz on Cabana Bay has grown to become a well-liked gathering place for live jazz music and entertainment. Most island residents and tourists who wish to interact with other people like to congregate there.

At the Fullerton Pavilion, a chic Italian restaurant and bar that is humming with activity by the bay has taken up the area left vacant by Catalunya.

You’ll feast like a king or queen at this secret restaurant, which is tucked away in a house on Boulevard Saint-Germain. Italian dishes like Signor Monti ($52), a grilled monkfish fillet wrapped in pancetta, and the risotto cacio e pepe ($39), finished in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano and topped with black truffle at the table, are served by chef Luigi Calcagno on individual plates with the perfect amount of seasoning.

Adam Sky, Stephen Day, Tirso Garcia, and Victoria, the hotel’s regular DJs, present sets every night at nine o’clock that will quickly transition you from dinner to drinks. Try Mr. Monti ($22), a traditional highball made with white rum, fresh grapefruit juice, grapefruit tonic, and basil.
