Established in 1998, Global Live Seafood was founded by Mr David Chong and his wife Pearly Lam, upon discovering an opportunity to create demand in the Singapore market for premium shellfish and seafood. When Mr Chong first started the business, his son, Joshua was in his teens and witnessed first-hand the struggle and hard work behind establishing and running the business. Thanks to Mr Chong’s determination, the company landed a large client who they supplied to, and in 2004, became an incorporated company.
Since 2012, Joshua has taken over to run the business and is constantly innovating new ways to streamline processes and increase market presence. In 2020, he decided to venture into e-commerce to keep up with the digital age and fulfil the demands of consumers. Other than having a strong online website, Global Live Seafood has a presence across other eCommerce platforms; Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10 and Carousell to meet the needs of customers.
9 years on now, Joshua has been with the business and still insists on making personal deliveries, to establish rapport and maintain good relationships with his clients. He intends to make a dent in the live seafood industry in Singapore, and establish Global Live Seafood as one of the Top Live Seafood Distributors in Singapore.

We carry the finest live seafood products such as European Blue Lobster, Alaskan King Crab and Australian Southern Rock Lobster. All our seafood are wild-caught from the sea unless otherwise stated and air-flown live from different countries.
Upon arriving at our warehouse, the live seafood will go through a quality check and are kept in tanks filled with aerated water at an optimum temperature to ensure that they remain in optimal condition. Before delivery, the seafood products will go through another quality check and are hand-selected.
Along with our tagline “Get it live & kicking!”, our seafood will be delivered live for optimal freshness. However, we do provide killing services upon request.
2. Flexible Delivery Schedule
Being able to meet the needs of customers at their convenience has always been our utmost priority hence we provide the flexibility of allowing customers to choose their desired delivery date so that they can pre-order ahead of schedule. We offer next day delivery and free delivery for orders above $80. Our delivery days & timing are as followed: Monday– Sunday, between 12 pm – 5 pm, island-wide delivery.
3. Premium Live Seafood at Affordable Prices
Global Live Seafood offers the best prices for premium live seafood in Singapore, we strive to stay competitive in terms of pricing yet remain affordable for our customers. We only charge a $8 delivery fee for orders below $80 and offer free delivery for orders above $80.
