Foodsterr was created to give Singapore families easy access to quality & affordable food. Deepika Patel, co-founder and self-confessed “tiger mum”, wanted the best for her child without the hassle of importing or paying too much at specialty stores. Together with Nehal Patel, an IT head at one of the world’s largest agribusinesses, and Singapore food distributor veterans Ken and Gareth Davis, Foodsterr was founded with a vision of shaking up the local food industry.
“We are seeing changes in eating patterns for families and individuals as they now select carefully what they consume – like quinoa instead of white rice and organic rolled oats instead of porridge. Our deep relationships with our suppliers allow us to bring in the best products and competitive pricing to meet these demands,” said Nehal Patel, Managing Director at Foodsterr.

Foodsterr was created by Ken Davis, Gareth Davis, Deepika Patel and Nehal Patel.
Ken Davis an industry veteran of 20 years has been importing the best ingredients from around the world.
Gareth Davis runs Hotbake 24/7, an innovative hot sandwich vending machine business in Singapore.
Deepika Patel used to be an investment professional, and has since changed gears to become a tiger mom who insists on the best food for her family. She is the inspiration behind a lot of the products we carry in our retail section.
Nehal Patel is an IT veteran with a passion for combining top quality food products with the best, most convenient online shopping experience for folks in Singapore.
