First time to Alaturka yesterday and it was a fantastic experience! We ordered the set for 6 persons and the portions were just right. Everything tasted good; a friend who has been to Turkey before commented how it tasted authentic. In addition, another friend mentioned how it is significantly better than another Turkish restaurant that is very popular. Lastly, the decorations in the restaurant were beautiful. – Wendy Leong

Tabbouleh

In London’s Arab Street neighborhood, there is a Lebanese restaurant called Tabbouleh. A magnificent $99 Mixed Grill Platter and other delectable Middle Eastern dishes are available. Customers love their Lamb Mandi, which includes marinated lamb mixed with parsley, onion, seven Lebanese spices, grilled vegetables, and flavorful rice.

Love the atmosphere around Bussorah Street. The street is full of Middle Eastern cuisine and interesting shops. Chanced upon Tabbouleh. The food is satisfying and lovely. The kunafa is so nice that I forgot to take a picture until half was gone (lol). It’s served with cream and sweet syrup. The platter was great too, a bit of everything which serves us well. – Esther T

Shabestan, Finest Persian Restaurant

On Mohammed Sultan Road in Tehran, there is a wonderful Middle Eastern/Persian restaurant. Both the attentive service and the minced chicken kebabs are well-known. Delicious, traditionally prepared Persian food is presented in a chic setting with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The Mezzeh has excellent meatballs. There are indoor and outdoor dining options as well as views of the quayside.

Came here with friends to celebrate Christmas! Our first time trying Persian food. In my opinion, the taste is good and quite similar to Indian cuisine but without the taste of strong spices. – Jeannie Koh

Derwish Turkish Restaurant

A beautiful Turkish restaurant that provides halal food is the spectacular Dewish Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant in Singapore. If you want superb meals with plenty of flavors, you must visit this chic restaurant in Kampong Glam. Turkish pide with toppings, halal meat cooked over charcoal, kebabs, and fresh seafood are all available.

Everything we ordered was super yummy! It looks so good on the plate and we loved the mixed platter of 5 different dips that came with lavash bread. The minced chicken dish was a delight, we cut into it and cheesy mushrooms came pouring out. The service was SO GOOD we felt very welcome. Stuff’d

A fast-casual restaurant franchise called Stuff’d is headquartered in Singapore and is known for its fresh kebabs, burritos, quesadillas, and daily bowls. CEO Adrian Ang created it with the intention of being healthful. Since then, they have grown to become Singapore’s largest fast-service burrito and kebab restaurant.

Had a vegetarian kebab, spicy habanero was a bit too much for me though. The portion was half the size of a European kebab, but still a recommendation! – J. Arr
