Everyone is aware that Joo Chiat is the center for trendy cafés, and this one may be the most trendy of them all. King’s Cart Coffee changes into Joo Chiat Oyster House when dusk falls. Watch for the red neon sign that will direct you there. From Japan’s Hyogo prefecture, plump oysters are served at this restaurant. You may choose between baked, flavor-infused, and unflavored varieties of this salty treat. Chimichurri, red wine mignonette, salsa, and yuzu foam are some of the topping options. Additionally, you must try other fusion meals, such as roasted cauliflower and har cheong gai chicken lolis.

Customer Reviews

It’s basically King’s Cart Coffee turned into an oyster bar in the evening. The staff are great as usual and the drinks are very good too. You can’t select the type of oysters, just the preparation method. The tapas are actually quite big portions and so are the mains. Everything was very well prepared and will come back again to try the other items on the menu! – Teck Boon

An oyster bar called The Oyster Bank is committed to offering premium oysters at reasonable pricing. Given the oysters’ freshness and affordable pricing, it’s understandable why people frequently line up outside the restaurant. The Oyster Bank stands out from other oyster bars not because of its size or grandeur but because of its wide variety of unique tastes, which include baked oysters with leek cream sauce and smoked bacon crumbs as well as raw oysters served with yuzu foam and ikura. Be prepared to be astonished by their diversity and excellence!

Customer Reviews

I think the best way to enjoy Oyster Bank, is to order small bites for sharing with rounds of alcoholic drinks. You will notice that most of the alcoholic drinks tend to be more expensive than food. Plain oysters are on promotion, every order of one alcoholic drink for 6 pieces of oysters at a special price. Will recommend trying the Oysters, Camembert, Butter Garlic Scallops, Beef Tataki, and Chrysanthemum Gin. – Raine Chye

Great service and well-prepared food that although you pay quite a premium for, is as good as the top restaurants around. I was looking for good fish and chips and decided to try this. I found the batter light and crisp, I like that there are pink peppercorns sprinkled on top. Some professional food bloggers pronounced the fish too dry. Well, my serving was nice juicy, and fresh. – Michelle S H Ng
