I highly recommend this restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were succulent. The price was cheap too. The best Laksa I’ve ever tried so far in Asia. The food was so nice that we ordered nearly half of the menu. We had curry Assam laksa and sour nyonya laksa, crispy prawn fritters, curry puff, spring roll, chicken roll popiah, nasi ulam. We also took 2 nice desserts, the Sago Guma Malacca was delicious.. must try.
Finally 2 refreshing drinks without added sugar: passion lemon and the speciality of the restaurant Laksa Tea, fantastic. – Idir Atik

Fab laksa! Must try when you’re in Penang. Amongst all, I think this is the most authentic and true to the original Penang Laksa taste. Love the and Auntie Kim is super friendly and ready to explain everything. She is also a super person, she is the chef, the cashier, the promoter of her food, and also the sweet titbits that look like durian soft candy. – Alvin Lim

Very authentic Penang laksa, you can find chunks of kembong fish inside, which is rarely seen in other stalls which often uses sardine. There’s a lot of torch ginger. This is a must-try when in Penang, in our opinion by far the best Penang laksa. – Hock Meng Goh

One of the most recommended dishes in Penang is its Laksa. It’s quite different from the Laksa I’ve had in Singapore. Penang Laksa has a slightly sour broth, giving it a very distinctive taste. We were very satisfied with the Laksa. We also ordered Es Kachang and Oyster Omelet. We even met the founder, an elderly woman who appeared to be in her 70s. She has been running this Laksa stall for over 50 years. It was a great experience overall, with the taste and price meeting our expectations. – Hendra Chiang

Perfect original penang asam laksa, broth is well balanced between sour, spicy, sweetness and importantly the big portion of prawn paste with red chili. The Staff were very friendly and fast to serve. Surprisingly the consistency of taste still remain the same all this years because of the chef still remain the same. Highly recommend at least 2 bowls for maximum satisfaction. RM6 per bowl. – 55autospa
