Throughout Ramadan, FairPrice is offering complimentary snacks and beverages for its Muslim customers. The initiative aims to support and enhance their Ramadan experience, ensuring that they have access to refreshments while shopping during this holy month. This initiative underscores FairPrice’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity, fostering a sense of community and solidarity among all its customers, regardless of their background or beliefs.
During Ramadan, Muslims shopping at FairPrice need not worry about missing their iftar meal, as the supermarket chain is distributing snack packs to Muslim customers at over 60 FairPrice stores until April 9th. FairPrice Group announced on Tuesday (March 12) that the distribution will take place at 61 stores, 30 minutes before and after iftar—the fast-breaking meal observed by Muslims in the evenings of Ramadan. Each snack pack contains dates, biscuits, and drinks.
During this period, over 60,000 iftar snack packs will be distributed, while stocks last. FairPrice Group will also host various wholesome activities for the festive season. Two Hari Raya block parties will take place on April 20th at Bedok North and Bukit Batok, featuring festive games and a photo booth for participants to enjoy.
FairPrice Group CEO Vipul Chawla stated in a press release: “Ramadan is a time for compassion, reflection, and communal gathering, and we understand its significance for the Muslim community and Singaporeans. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our Muslim customers through our community engagement during this period and remain committed to keeping the season’s essentials within reach for all.”
