In the newest episode of their show, Jeremy and Jesseca venture into Taiwan as part of their journey. Along the way, they explore a seaside railway bike trail, browse through a charming local bookstore, and engage in a thrilling river rafting experience at Yilan’s Nashan Na Valley. It was during this adventure that Jeremy’s protective instincts towards Jesseca were highlighted in a truly heroic manner.
Amidst the excitement of river rafting in Yilan’s Nashan Na Valley, Jeremy and Jesseca found themselves in a thrilling yet precarious situation. Sandwiched between their guides, they formed a human chain by clasping hands while navigating individual mini rafts through the swift waters.
Jesseca, brimming with excitement, expressed her desire to relish the coldness of the river water, especially after many years since her last encounter with a waterfall. However, the adventure took a tumultuous turn when the waves became choppy, leading their rafts towards rocky areas, creating a bumpy and exhilarating ride.
During this intense moment, Jeremy’s protective instincts were on full display as he closely monitored Jesseca’s safety. In a reflective B-roll interview, Jesseca recounted feeling as though she was about to capsize, only to be miraculously saved from flipping over at the last moment.
“I turned around, and I saw Jeremy looking at me with a very worried expression on his face,” Jesseca continued, recounting the intense moment on the river.
Jeremy’s protective instincts kicked in as he held onto Jesseca with all his strength to prevent her from capsizing. “We could easily reach the rocks beneath us when we stretched out our legs. If you were to capsize there, you would definitely get injured. So as she was about to capsize, I held onto her really tightly and did everything I could to pull her (raft) upright again,” Jeremy explained.
Despite successfully keeping Jesseca safe, Jeremy injured a muscle in his arm during the rescue. “I was touched,” Jesseca said, tearing up as she reflected on the heartfelt moment.
With a chuckle, Jesseca continued, “He didn’t have to do that. I would rather experience some things for myself and grow from it. If I’m too protected, I would be like a child who doesn’t fear fire because I’ve never been burned.”
Reflecting on their bond, Jesseca added, “The reason I love him so much is because I know he loves and protects me more than himself.”
