Their website states that before sale, they quarantine, examine, and condition marine fish for a few weeks. The three-step procedure makes sure that the fish are used to the aquarium’s internal and outdoor environments. Failure to do so causes fish to be startled by abrupt changes, which reduces their lifetime.
